About Yab Yum
YAB YUM is a stomping night-time psytrance project born in Switzerland, in 2004. Originally formed by Ajja S.F. Leu and Dj Gaspard, Yab Yum quickly conquered psy-lovers and space cadets around the globe with its twisted psychedelic grooves.
Its much-appreciated debut album Nocturnal Emissionswas released at the end of 2006, along with a steady flow of tracks on renowned psytrance labels worldwide. Yab Yum has performed in most major parties and festivals around the world. Since Gaspard retirement in 2008, Ajja has taken on the project on his own, and continues to roam the planet shaking and grooving dance-floors everywhere.
Featuring spunky loops rhythms, spastic elastic sounds and funky leads balanced by rolling bass-lines and powerful kicks, Yab Yum can best be defined as psychedelic trance with a sense of humour!
