Transportation Options

Desiderata Festival 2010 is taking place at Stone Tavern Farm, located roughly three hours from NYC. There are multiple ways of getting to Desiderata; we hope you "keep it green", and strongly encourage you to carpool and share rides with other festival goers.

BUS

Bus service is available from NYC through Adirondack Trailways ( http://www.trailwaysny.com/html/english/locations.asp )

The closest bus stop to Desiderata is 10 minutes away in Margaretville, NY at the Margaretville Motel where taxi/cab service will be available.

There will also be a shuttle to scoop you up when you arrive in Margaratville.

The Adirondack Trailways bus leaves from the Port Authority in New York City on 42nd Street and 8th Avenue:

The closest train station is located 1 hour away in Rhinecliff, NY. You can call Enterprise and they will have a car waiting for you when you arrive...
